New sounds

make me inspired. The pads, the ease of programing (though having a
pg800 would make this easier) the keyboard is built. Taking it apart
always makes me appreciate old craftsmanship. Things are definitely
not made like they used to, from capacitors to circuits to motherboards.
New keyboards (i will not mention names) have a 3x5 inch board lacking
much other than three chips and a screen. Old boards which are 8x8 have
chips the size of your hand, and capacitors the size of d batteries.
Thats why things will never sound analog again. It’s a dying art.
Collecting it can only make you appreciate the design, and parts, and
sound of anything make before 1986.
